Marguerite has a twenty five year background in transportation, Congress (where she helped to pass the ADA and important environmental legislation), international law, Telco, software design, finance, and media (offline and on) as well as entrepreneurial hi-tech startups.

She first changed state policy in North Carolina as a student leader which led to the reform of the entire statewide pension system.

Past accomplishments and awards include Best Documentary of the Year at Reel Affirmations Film Festival in Washington DC and a nomination for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for her work in digital distribution.

Marguerite is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill where she attended as an academic scholarship student in the honors program.  She also attended Governor’s School West in 1984.
