Freedom Riders

In the last days before the final showdown (we think you know what we mean) there has suddenly been a sudden chatter in the punditry/blogosphere about RACE.

Finally.

While we don’t want to make a political statement, since the video below is an official campaign commercial for one candidate and we don’t want this to be about that.

The points Chris Rock makes about white America (and non white America) ARE always right on target.  And are the kind of approach we take in our dialogue about disability issues (because they are very much the same, if not worse for the PWD community.)

And even if you don’t plan on voting for the person he was paid to promote in the political ad below, you will laugh your butt off anyway.  Think of it as a guest appearance on Jon Stewart.

I think I stopped it halfway through with the comment about Obama’s grandparents having to wear sunglasses because looking at each other would cause sunburn.

I was laughing so hard I couldn’t stop, and had to click the pause button because the whole thing is so funny, I didn’t want to miss anything.

Neither will you.

And if nothing else, it does show that the current incumbent in office certainly has a sense of humor somewhere.

If he wins tomorrow, I suggest he continue this tactic.  It’s very effective.  And makes him more human.

Now about Afghanistan and Domestic Drone policy….no….let’s have that chat another time.  For now just watch and laugh.
