Updates on Sustainable Activites in NoDa
Yes, we are back this Saturday from 10-4pm with our weekly backyard farmer’s market in NoDa between Beagles and Delis on Davidson Street (cross street 36th).
Featuring sustainable products and services.
We are starting to build a “sustainability fair” there (to include local sustainable artists, events, scientific and other green events, cool bands and demonstrations all summer).
More coming soon.
So stop by, say hi, we’ll be there rain or shine.
Further, upcoming sustainability events in the neigbhorhood coming up include:
May 16 – The NoDa Greenification demonstration of beekeeping (very cool) at the YMCA. Event held on lawn of Johnston YMCA (N. Davidson Street) and will feature Mecklenburg County’s offficial beekeeper, live bees, and a Q&A for all those interested in urban beekeeping.
May 19 – The Puckett unveiling of the Matheson Bridge upgrade.
